U14 SCHOOL HOLIDAY CAMP
The Art Of Surfing (TAOS) will be running a two-day coaching camp for micro groms between the ages of eight and thirteen who are looking to progress their surfing and learn the fundamentals of surfing technique.
INTRODUCTION
Two days packed with surfing, video analysis, heat drills and surf-skate training.
This camp is designed for intermediate-level kids aged 8 - 13 who want to progress their surfing in a fun and safe environment.
TOM BUTLAND - Head Coach
The Art of Surfing is excited to welcome Raglan WSL wildcard Tom Butland to our coaching team.
Tom’s journey with TAOS began at just eight years old, training under Matt and immersing himself in the TAOS methodology from the very start. Now, at 23, Tom brings a wealth of experience as both a high-level competitor and a dedicated coach.
As a recent WSL wildcard, Tom is passionate about pushing the boundaries of surfing in New Zealand—especially by helping young surfers progress their aerial skills and progressive maneuvers.
“Having grown up in the TAOS system, I know firsthand how powerful the right coaching can be. I’m excited to help the next generation of surfers unlock their potential and chase their dreams.” – Tom Butland
